ramblings of an optomistic spirit

10/05/2016

where has the time gone.

Life kind of took over for a while after our wedding.
I seem to tweet more now its less time consuming.
But I miss catching up with people on here.

So Life has changed somewhat I gave my notice in and finish work the end of May.
Andy and I have left our little cottage by the sea that was to be our forever home.
We have now bought a 5 bed old house right on the shore it dates from 1750 approximately.

I am going to run a bed and breakfast so hope to blog more about doing up our new home and garden it needs a bit of work before we open to paying guests.
It's in a stunning location and we are very excited about the next episode in our lives.

  2. Oh wow Annie, this was great news from you - I've missed you since the lovely wedding. This is really a beautiful place and I'm sure you will run a wonderful B&B. Hard work, but I'm sure you are up for it. Good luck my dear!

Off to Ireland tonight - 3 weeks tramping across the countryside - with the help of trains and buses - never been before so want to see all I can. Hubby is interested in finding more info about his paternal grandfather from Co. Kerry (Castleisland), so we'll be spending time checking all the Sullivan families we can locate! Hope the rains are light and the sun shines on all the picturesque scenery.

Please keep blogging - I want to follow your work at the lovely new house.
    Hugs - Mary
