Living on the west coast of Scotland we have been privileged to witness the Northern Lights on a few occasions.
To watch this from our front door step last night was nothing less than awesome.
Amazing. We never seem them in the city but once when I was driving up in northern Vermont we were quite alarmed by the sight of them as they rose from the horizon. We thought there must have been a nuclear bomb detonated somewhere.
OMG Annie - this is just fantabulous!! Yes, perhaps not a real word but then this is a rare and unreal sight of sorts!! Fancy viewing Nature's glorious light show from your door step - so beautiful!
Thanks so much for sharing this - and thanks for stopping by and the nice comment on my blog anniv. Seven years went by much too fast!
Great shot. We seldom get treated with that sort of thing here.
ReplyDeleteIts seldom here too.

That must have been amazing and you didn't need to get as cold as you did last year either! Sarah x

DeleteI am in absolute awe that you have been able to see the Northern Lights from your door step! It is on my bucket list. Have a great weekend xo
ReplyDeleteIt was on mine too :-) 2nd time we have seen them since we moved here.
DeleteYou're so lucky to have seen them. Apparently they were seen as far south as here, near Manchester, and I was gutted when I found out I missed them :(
ReplyDeleteYep pretty much most of the UK saw them in various hues. Good luck for next time.

Fantastic. Why did we move south?
ReplyDeleteFor better weather allegedly ?
