spring is round the corner....

It's been cold and bleak here for a while. So to wake up to sunshine and blue sky this morning was lovely. Sadly I spent all day in the office so it was great to get out with the dogs after work to watch the sunset. Only had my phone with me, so picture taken on that.

    As always, a beautiful photo. One thing I hate about winter is how early it gets dark. So often it is dark when I get home from work and I don't see my garden in the morning because I am walking on the beach instead. Daylight savings begins in a few weeks and I will see daylight at each end.

      Because we live surrounded by mountains the sun totally evades us in winter but our garden and cottage are almost getting bathed in its winter rays. Looking forward to lighter evenings here too.
