Aurora

Living on the west coast of Scotland we have been privileged to witness the Northern Lights on a few occasions.
To watch this from our front door step last night was nothing less than awesome.

Wow the aurora borealis from our bedroom window.

Andy has been into Astronomy for years. So you can imagine his delight when he went out to the bin before we went to bed last night and called me to see this. Where we live there are no street lights so we get some dark skies. Which are amazing for stargazing.
The pictures don't do justice to the amazing green glow and white beams that darted across the sky :-)
