starry nights,Skye and a new job !

Hello

Haven't posted for a while lifes beeen a little hectic. So a quick catch up and some recent photo's....
Andy sat himself on the jetty opposite our cottage to capture the starry night sky......

from one sky to another. I had a lovely trip to the Isle of Skye for work yesterday, the sun shone I had a lovely day

and last but not least I got approached to work for a local Educational Trust. Just part-time at the moment but this compliments my current part time job. First day tomorrow really excited. For the last 7 years I have been lucky enough to work doing something I appear to be really good at and love doing ( how great is that ).

The highlands of Scotland has evaded the snow that the rest of the UK appears to be getting our mountains are covered but living right next to the sea we don't get much at ground level. However I have just seen the weather report ......this may all be about to change !

  1. An answer. How i found your blog. I occasionally search blogland for interesting souls. If you notice in your profile where you list your interests. Each one is searchable. I had hit gardening and was searching thru the blogs in that category when I stumbled on your blog. Liked the title and the picture of the 3 sets of legs and feet. So I checked out your blog. Being from Scotland helped. I have a genuine interest in that country since my ancestors hailed from there. I've always been a photo nut, so that helped. Thanks for the tip on the bird-blog. If you like neat pictures, heres one you might check out.http://nikonsniper.blogspot.com/

  3. Dear Annie - that first picture and the mountains covered in snow are perfect. This is why I love Scotland so much - I could guess the pictures are of Scotland - something to do with the wonderful colouring.
Congratulations on your new post, and hope tomorrow goes well for you.

  5. Annie, I have a question about Andys blog. I didn't notice a place to post comments. Does one have to give thier e-mail to do that? I really enjoyed the pictures while he was kayaking. The scenery was amazing. X.
